Daily - Eat between 20 and 35 grams of fiber a day. When you eat two to three servings of vegetables and fruits at every meal, this is easy. You can also add fiber to your diet as a nutritional supplement. Use psyllium husks, which are widely available at the health food store. Mix 1 teaspoon in a glass of water and drink immediately before it gels. Follow with another glass of purified water.
